    Hi Kat
Oncotype test analyzes the tumor to determine your treatment and reoccurance risk score.

The fish test has something to do with guppies. LOL just kidding. I don't know what it has to do with breast c.

Hope someone else can help you more.

    FSH test
This test is to further determine your HER/neu status. An initial test is done to check for hormone receptors (ER and PR) and HER/neu expression. If you have a borderline score for the HER test, they do the FSH to see if you are HER/neu positive or negative. As my onc. explained, about 2/3 end up being HER/neu negative and 1/3 HER/neu positive after this test. I took it and was HER/neu negative with a score of 2 ++. Hope this helps.

All I know is that my pathology report says I am ER and PR positive. I don't see where I am

HER2/negative, but, I am, I think. I need to check on that. These reports are confusing.

    How does that oncotype test
How does that oncotype test determine your recurrence risk? Where is that on the pathology report? Or, is that a seperate test they do?

    The meaning
Looked up what the FISH stands for -

Fluorescence in situ Hybridization. lol Ok, did that help anyone? Someone asked what it stood for. Hope they see this. lol

Basically, from what I read, it is a test to find out if you are HER2 postive or negative.
