Hi Ladies,
I thought I'd start a new thread, it will be easier than zipping all the way down my no remission thread.

Linn, I'm so sorry about your news regarding the lymph node, as you know I'm also staged 4 with lymph node involvement. Has your oncologist mentioned topotecan? I was on it for 10 months. Is he considering another chemo drug as a treatment for you?

Next month, we'll be doing Gemzar and Avastin together, of course I'm not looking forward to going back on chemo, but I'm going to deal with this miserable monster and beat it back into hell where it belongs.
I wish you good health what ever plan you and your doctor settle on. Please keep posting, it's good for all of us to vent.

Karen, I was diagnosed with OVCA in April 2007 but I didn't know about this board until recently, of course I wish I had joined sooner. These are a wonderful group of caring women and I really find it comforting to interact with them.

My oncologist had also said that it didn't matter how large or small the tumor is, if it's the right treatment, it will do the job very well. So have confidence that what ever plan you and your doctor choose, will kill the cancer.

I appreciate the posts you've written to me, I hope you're feeling well and have a pleasant day tomorrow.
Talk to you soon.

    Thanks
Hi Jane, Thanks for the kind words. I'm feeling much better today. Just had a small pity party, I guess. I'll be praying for you, that your new chemo regimen kills the monster. Did you read my post about a clinical trial in Tampa that is working to match patients with the right chemo through DNA testing? It gives me hope to know all the research that is going on. We have a beautiful day here in Wisconsin and I plan to enjoy it. Hope you have as beautiful a day where you are. Love and prayers, Karen
