Hey there fellow brain cancer survivors...

I was diagnosed with a grade 2 Astrocytoma in the fall of 2008. I had a craniotomy in September 2008, and another one in February of this year (2009). I have been on Temodar for three months and just found out that my brain is responding well to chemotherapy. Yeah!

I've been keeping a blog and documenting most of my journey. At first I was hesitant to share my journal with people I don't know, but I read a lot of posts written by recently diagnosed people who are scared about treatment and surgery and I hope that by sharing my journal it might help ease the fear.

Check out http://thelizarmy.blogspot.com/2009/03/48-hours.html to see video footage of me 48-hours after my second craniotomy.

Keep up your positive attitudes--it's the best medicine for our brain, and it's free.

Liz

If I could only think of a title...
    Liz,

I'm so glad to hear that you're responding well to the meds!
I'm also glad you've let us in on your journal which has kept me immersed for quite a while - you have a new follower (orange kitty with a rose in her teeth) now :)
