Moopy ... I'll be thinking of Tuesday as you have your last chemo. You are a real trooper and your strength through all of this is amazing. I'm sure having Joe with you every step of the way has been a blessing. You two are so lucky to have each other.

Hope to hear from you when it's over ... after you and Joe celebrate !!!!!!

hugs.

Thank you so much for thinking of me and for your encouraging message. I was actually sitting here feeling sorry for myself and fretting about the delay and the ultrasound this afternoon and....well, just about everything. But you are right--I have a lot to celebrate, and a big one is having friends/sisters like you.

How have you been? I am looking forward to celebrating your last treatment with you.

    Dear Moopy
You probably remember ..a couple mo.'s back and my ordeal with the physical therapist. And how i needed to have ultra-sound and other tests to rule out blood clots. At first i thought that it was all needless, and to just give me what i needed for the lymphademia already!! But after i had the tests, it was an added relief to know that my lungs were clear. and I was thanking God. Maybe this is a added assurance to know that all is well. Thank God!

Yes we have alot to celebrate. I did make it to my celebration on Sat. and it was lovely..my son helped other men barbeque and i was even serenaded with several beautiful encouraging songs by a talented friend with a guitar! I have to admit there was a damper on my spirit though. The emotional business of our scammer left me a little down. But i took your advise and "pulled on my big girl panties" and i did have a good time. Went home fairly early..you were all in my heart. Another friend took pics (i haven't saw them yet) but i will post one when i do.

I am wishing you the best today, I know all will be fine. And i will be with you in spirit and much much happiness tomorrow as you finish your treatment. I will also be at my Onc. finding out radiation plans etc. when i get home I am going to get on my knees and thank the Lord that we have both made it through this very hard time. I am so happy for you my dear friend. My flashlight is on..and i love you.

    Yay, Jackie!
So glad the snow didn't postpone nor cancel your party! Along with your "big girl panties" - am wondering, did you wear THE hat? (tee hee!)

Happy to know you enjoyed yourself - you have wonderful friends! Although I am so sorry the unfortunate scam/hoax/whatever the heck it was situation dampened your spirits, even if only a little. The only consolation I can possibly provide for that is - certainly, you were not alone in those feelings. Many, many of us were affected. And many of us are now in forgive/forget/move forward mode. Just as you decided to have a good time, in spite of it all - good for you, dear!

    Kind regards, Susan

P.S.: Did your beloved Tootsie attend the party? Or, did she snooze at home? :-)

    Yes, I Can
Ah, Judy, I can see your light, and Stef's beacon, and Lili's magna light, and Nancy's and Jackie's and Mimi's and Susan's and Jan's.....and Tasha's (turquoise, I presume?) and Donna's pink rhinestone light, and Re's, and our 50-ft woman (some light there!), and the lights of all of you strong, beautiful, and caring women. Each of you is in my heart. And I can feel all the warm and caring thoughts being sent my way.

I think I am going to ace that ultrasound this afternoon, and have that hubby of mine take me out for lunch, and have a good, final chemo session tomorrow. With you all behind me, I know I will be just fine.

I do remember that ordeal. I guess you are right; it was good to hear that my lungs are fine.

So glad that you made it to your party and that your son joined the guys in barbecuing. Joe will be glad to hear it, too. The serenade must have been lovely. I am looking forward to seeing the pics.

Let us know what you find out about your radiation treatment tomorrow. I will be thinking of you. Isn't it wonderful to be talking about radiation and have chemo behind you??? (I will be there tomorrow, I know.)

Thank you, dear sister. Your light never stopped shining.

I AM WITH YOU, dear Moopy! YES, you WILL ace that ultrasound! Because your heart is BIG & STRONG! Because it's so filled with love, empathy & compassion for others - which you share & give so freely.

We are not only behind you; but, also along both sides. And in front, too! You are SURROUNDED by us, in spirt!

    Kind regards, Susan

    Love the Kitten!
Noel, thank you for your message. My test was OK today (yea!), and I am getting revved up again about my last chemo tomorrow. Now I will have to start reviewing your posts and others on radiation. Hope you are doing well with your treatments. By the way, I love your photo. What a cute little green-eyed kitten. Have you seen Kristin's kitty photo? The paws wave.

yes i did wear the hat (almost daringly) haha. my friends loved it! Tootsie snoozed at home. But she has been giving me lots of happy kisses! Thanks Susan, maybe it was just the accumulative chemo dampering my spirits. I wouldn't want to think i let a scammer rain on my parade! and we will not let any one like that steal our joy!! You all remain a happy place in my heart.
