Not sure what is happening in this body of mine. Just worn out I guess. After driving all the way to Masonic(82 miles one way)they did labs again and my anc was at one. My counts had dropped again, so no chemo. They had only Friday available for next week and either 7 or 8am, so next wednesday labs rechecked and if okay chemo on Friday. Normally we always check my labs in princeton before hand, but with them being okay last week my nurse said save yourself a trip and we'll recheck them here. Never do that again.

Anyway thanks for all the notes and dancing with me. :-) Hopefully next week is a go.

HUGS ♥ PRAYERS Bonnie

    So Sorry, Bonnie
Bonnie, I am so sorry to hear this. After all that adrenalin from the rejoicing, this must be a huge blow, in spite of how positive you sound. My prayers are with you this week, that the blood will rejuv itselt back up. Please gets lot's of rest and stay warm. It looks like it might be fairly cold in your neck of the woods.

    Warm teal hugs!

    Bonnie,

Would that be Princeton, West Virginia? And you are in my prayers.

    Hope for Wednesday/Friday
How frustrating for you, another part of the yo-yo ride I guess. Hopefully all your counts will be back up by Wednesday so Friday will be a go. Maybe this cold weather will help - it has to be good for something! Good luck. ((((hugs))))

    Bummer!
What a disappointment for you dear, Bonnie. Labs do make mistakes so I'm praying they just goofed on the test and your counts didn't really drop in that short of a time. Had you all prayed up for an easy chemo but not a waste of time...God will hold those prayers over until you get it. I'm wearing my new Teal pin just for you today. Saundra

    Blood counts
    Bonnie,

I'm hoping that next week your counts will be up and you will finally get that chemo you have been wanting.

I'm learning to live with the fact that my counts are going to be week to week and that I just can't fret about them - there is nothing I can do about them (beside the shots of course) and it takes up too much energy to be upset about it. My oncologist now has me on a two week on, two week off schedule with a neulasta shot in between. If this new schedule works, I will have my last chemo the last week of the year. That would be the best present ever!

    No chemo
Hi, Bonnie. I, too, am so disappointed for you! I'm feeling down also as my doctor hasn't called in 3 weeks to set up my next chemo regimen, as he said he would. I guess I'm feeling that he thinks of me as a lost cause, which is the way he came across the last time I saw him. I'm always so impressed with some of the doctors that you all have. They seem to want to keep trying, at least with something. Here's hoping and praying that your numbers pop back up and you get to have chemo!!!!!! Love and hugs, MM
