I was reading your profile,

I was reading your profile, and found it very helpful. I was diagnosed with AML M0 in aug. 2008. I went through probably the same induction as you and 4 rounds of consolodation. Right after the induction, as soon as I became neutropinic (spelling) I got an infection and spent 2 weeks in ICU. Where I wasn't suppose to make it, and I did. And thank God, for the medication that makes you forget everything, I don't really remember those 2 weeks.
I finished my last round of chemo the 18th of Jan 2009, and have my last BMB the first week of March. I must say that my positive attitude is fading. I'm becoming worried that it might come back. I feel great, it's just the "50/50 chance" that it might comeback. And I'm deathly afraid of a bone marrow transplant. Only because I have no idea what it details, or pretty much what it is. I see a specialist next month, just so they can try to find a match just incase. I'm soo afraid its going to hurt, and that I'll have to be away from my son again. He wont leave my side as it is now.
I haven't met anyone or talked to anyone who has the same thing as me at all. It would be nice to chat with someone who does, especailly someone who is cancer free. For me, that's a hope for future for myself.
Looking forward to chatting with you,
