MOCA's mission is:
To create an awareness regarding early warning signs that may be indicative of ovarian cancer

To create and promote resources for support, networking and education for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer in order to help them in their battle

To unite and educate individuals, the medical community and organizations to overcome ovarian cancer

To advance ovarian cancer research toward better treatment, diagnosis and a cure.

Minneapolis
MOCA provides an ongoing ovarian cancer support group on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Beginning December 13, the meetings will be held at MOCA's office at 4604 Chicago, Avenue South (formerly the Women’s Cancer Resource Center). Fridley – Unity Hospital Cancer Resource Center
The Lois Wooden Ovarian Cancer Support Group meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Cancer Resource Center at United Hospital, 550 Osborne Road. This is an ongoing group, which you may join at anytime. For more information, please call Marcia Carlson, 763-236-6061

St. Paul– Fine Arts Center Lounge at Macalester College
This ovarian cancer support group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Meetings are held at Macalester College in the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center Lounge in room #104, just inside the west entrance of building #11 on the map. Primary facilitator: Marge Higgins.

Monticello Daytime Group
This daytime group for women living with ovarian cancer is held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:30 a.m.– 12 noon at 261 East Broadway Monticello. Primary facilitator Jean Rafferty.

Daughters Group for Women Who Have Lost Their Mothers To Ovarian Cancer
This group meets the third Wednesday of the month from 7:00– 8:30 p.m. at MOCA’s new office at 4604 Chicago Avenue South (formerly the Women’s Cancer Resource Center). You may join at anytime. For more information, please call MOCA at 952/890-8775 or email Kathleen at kgavin@mnovarian.org.
