Surviving Breast Cancer; There Is A Child Within Us

dziemann's picture

I wrote this book as a means to help me heal emotionally and I wanted to share my journey with others to let them know that they are not alone. Survivorship is a long and difficult path. It is a state of mind that is dictated by oneself and not others. After the surgery and treatments are over we find that speration anxiety can take control, and we have to learn how to survive on our own. Friends, co-workers, and sometimes families think that every thing is back to normal. Nothing could be further from the truth. We learn that nothing will ever be normal again, and we learn how to rediscover ourselves and our life.

I have also developed a web page; www.survivngbreastcancer.com. Enjoy and share your journey.
