Pins and needles

I have my core needle biopsy tomorrow morning (growth found on my recent mammogram). Trying not to be scared, but I'm a wimp when it comes to stuff like that. After I get through this, the next big thing will be my bloodwork on April 7th. That'll be first since my colon resection (not counting right after when I first met the oncologist). Do y'all feel like you're ALWAYS going to some kind of doctor, waiting for some kind of results, hoping you won't get more dreaded words? Makes it hard to relax, you know? I find myself sort of turning inward, trying to process all these new emotions.

I get sick to my stomach every time I go in for more scans or biopsies. For the first few nights I don't sleep and I find it hard to eat my stomach is so upset! So... I know how you feel!

I'm back from the hospital. The biopsy wasn't too bad. After a colon resection, it was definitely a piece of cake! I'll get the results tomorrow, but a friend of mine works in the radiology department, and she whispered to me that everyone is looking good at this point, unless there are surprises. Woohoo!

I can tell I must have been nervous this morning. Meant to type "everything is looking good."
