I'm REALLY wanting to hear from any and ALL WOMEN who have had the daVinci Hysterectomy. I'm having one on Friday April 18th at 8:00 and I haven't connected with anybody that has had one yet. Is anybody out there that's been through this surgery....?
I sure hope to hear from some of you women that went through this.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for writing. :-)

Hey ladybug, :-) THANK YOU for writing. Are you able to connect me with those ladies, so I can hear their stories? I'm really looking to hear from women who have had this surgery done. I'd REALLY APPRECIATE IT AND THANK YOU....for writing. :-)

My husband's aunt recently had laporascopic surgery to remove her ovaries. She was able to forego committing to a total abdominal incision because there was no indication that there was anything other than a cyst on an ovary. Have you posted to the board that covers other gynecologic cancer?

The woman I've mentioned is in her 80's, and is recovering quite well. The procedure did have a gynecologic oncologist observer, who was ready to do an abdominal surgery in the event it appeared necessary.

It would seem doubtful that any of the women on this board would have had laporascopic surgery; usually the diagnosis for ovarian cancer is not made until it has already spread, an the surgeon really needs to see the big picture for a good diagnosis.
