March 20 is my 5 year anniversary of stage 2 colon cancer. Before I could celebrate, I found out I had stage 0 breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy and now I have 7 radiation treatments left. In the meanwhile, I was just diagnosed with stage 0 melanoma. I already had surgery and am waiting for the path. report to be sure they got it all. Fortunately all my cancers were caught early, but it makes me worried about my next appt. with the gynocologist. Will he find something too?? Is sponge bob still around? Best of luck to everyone, Arlene

Congratulations on your 5 year mark!! I'm sorry you are having to deal with breast cancer and melanoma. However you are a great example to us all what early detection can mean. Last November I had my plastic surgeon who I am seeing for wound care check my moles. Two came back as precursors to melanoma (I can't remember the medical name). Since then he has taken off 8 moles with 4 more in April. He says he is removing anything that looks like it could remotely be a problem in the future. I am grateful for having them removed when I did. Best of Luck to you.

Your 5 year anniversary is encouraging to all. Too bad that you have the other cancers that you have had to deal with, but cheers to you on finding them so early! You and your doctors are doing a great job in finding these cancers in the early stages. My prayers and positive thoughts are with you as you get your reports back on the melanoma. Take care and best of luck to you!

Well, here's to no more surprises. Congrats on the 5-year mark! I'll be so happy to get to that day. I'm sorry you've had to deal with all the other situations, but it sounds like you're getting good medical care.

It's daunting to keep getting diagnosed with cancer but it is good you are getting them early and beating down the beast. Keep at it.
Spongebob is still around but goes off to sea at times (at least that's what he tells us). He and his wife, Katie, are hosting the Palooza in San Francisco this fall.

congratulations on your five year anniversary. Sorry to hear about the other two. I had stage 3 colon cancer and am just now catching up on mamograms etc. I only have the gynecologist to go, know how you feel. I am sure it will be fine. Sounds like you are getting great medical care.
