What a shock??

Hey everybody,
I have good news. I posted about a week ago whining about chemo effects and thinking I might hang it up because I had 3 more treatments and just was very bummed. Well 8 wonderful ladies descended on my post and pumped me up so much that I thought I was Rocky Balboa. Today I went to my onc and he said to me, how many treatments do you have left, and I said 3, and he said no just one left. My mouth just hung there. Somehow we had got our wires crossed and at the beginning it was 6 and then he decided to change to a higher dosage since I was relatively young and healthy but I did not understand that the change affected the number of treatments, Duh? Needless to say I am elated. Thanks to all of you for your support. I have one more treatment, Yippee.

    Great news! I bet it was a shock. It just goes to show that we never know what paths this crazy disease will take.

    That's great news Robin! One treatment left---Fantastic! Maybe it is a good thing that you thought you had three left----one doesn't sound too bad at all now, does it? Good luck with that last treatment, and get ready to celebrate!

    I bet you are on cloud nine. I am so happy for you. Glad the Rocky Balboa worked :) (helped me to get through) I'm sure you have no doubt you will get through now!!!!!

    That's a nice shock to get. It makes it so much better when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
