    Pelona~
I did NOT take your drug, but it sounded familiar to me. I went page by page in here, and on page 8 on the BC discussion board, someone else posted a question about xeloda. There are a few responses which you may be able to add to any you get as well. I think the name of the one posting was PinkRibbon, so you can scroll down to her question. I hope that helps!
And, by the way...I got a chuckle from you name~good to keep your sense of humor, even if you can't keep your hair!
    Happy Healing! Hugs,

    Hi Pelona.
I've been on xeloda pills now for about 6 months. side affects i've experienced are red and cracked hands and feet. So I slather them up at nite. I've been fighting constipation and diarrea occasionaly - so what else is new - LOL. My appetitite is still good though. Have you started yet or just getting ready to?

This is used quite a bit for colorectal cancer patients....digestive upsets seem to be one of the most common effects.

Xeloda is actually 5FU. Actually, it doesn't start out as 5FU, it metabolizes in the cancer cells to 5FU. I had the infusion type, never the pills. I have many semi-colon (stage 4s, mainly) friends that will be on Xeloda on and off for the rest of their lives.

    Hugs, Kathi
