radiation + diarrhea

hello everyone...
my mom is undergoing radiation right now, actually she will be finishing up with her last session tomorrow. she is only scheduled for 5 treatments to her abdomen (finished), and 10 treatments for her pelvic bone (will finish tomorrow). She is currently experiencing EXTREME diarrhea; having to go almost every 15-20 mins, especially after just eating. Can anyone help us with dealing with this? She is currently taking lomotil to help her... please help us!
