My journey to Washington, DC is less than 3 weeks from now....September 20 is the 'big relay' day.

If there is someone you all would like to buy (sorry, it's $10 each) a luminaria for, you can go to http://celebrationonthehill.org/ and click on the luminaria button. These will be part of the walk of silence around the reflection pool...
also, if you participated in a relay, let me know...I will be looking for the Wall of Hope banners for many...and I'm taking my camera!

    I just purchased two luminaria.... one for my sister, Beth, who lost her fight with the lung cancer beast five years ago but who has now inspired me to fight the good fight, and one for all of us who fight the beast in any form. Keep on Keeping On!!!

    Hey, Kathi, can you get a pic of the luminarias? That would be beautiful....

    Yes, my dear....many, many pics...I have both a digital still 'reflex' and a mini-digital movie camera....
    AND I'm taking my 16gb hard drive....AND I'm planning on "buying" internet time from the hotel....just call me 'scooter' Kathi cub reporter!!!! (lmao)
