1 year AND 1 year 3 month anniversary

It was one year ago today that I had my breast cancer lumpectomy, 3 months to the day after my bowel resection...I was not sure if I would make it to now....
but HERE I AM...

My new plan...when I pass, many years from now, I plan on sliding into place, my body scarred and spent, wine glass in one hand, chocolate in the other....and say "WHEW! WHAT a RIDE!!!!"

    Glad You've made it this far and I hope You're around for a very longtime.You keep eatin' all that chocolate and drinkin' all that wine-you'll get fat , fall down and won't be able to get up so You won't have to worry about the ride - You'll be on a roll ----TE-HE-HE.--All banged up,too.
    Okay it's getting late- I'll hush-but I am glad You're still here-Congrats!!!!!

    Good for you. Enjoy the ride... with NED... You have surely earned it. You are an inspiration to many. I don't know if I would have had the courage to face it two times so quickly. But I guess we do what we must.

    My dearest friend, you had to stay alive. I need you. YOu make me laugh when I want to cry. When I get angry you find a way to calmly allow me to vent. You are happy for me when things go well. You are an inspiration of what we can overcome. And I hope you are healthy for many many more years.

    Do you use a pedometer? I do. I find it really keeps me on track. I'm up to walking/running 6.5 miles a day. Plus I do half an hour of yoga and stretch.
