Hello all .
Well my platelets were still up in the chemo safe zone . So I received my 10th treatment today . I am feeling pretty hyper .always do After chemo day one and a little on day two then WHAM. I have noticed a big difference when I up the fluids . So I've been drinking a ton of water .
I had a Dr. Appt Tues and my Genetic test results were in (all neg) Whew ,They want to test me for one more form just to make sure and my Dr. told me to still have my children get scoped earlier then 50 . The good news is that I do-not have FAP OR Attuated Fap which is what they were suspecting. He also felt my liver and said that it does-not feel enlarged and is right up where it is suppose to be (it was very enlarged when I was first diagnosed).
Anyways back here at our hotel everyone has been sick . My husband and the kids went to the DR. and they all have strep throat. So I am sporting a lovely face mask to go along with my fanny pack friend.
I also had a great Monday . I received a wonderful visit from Ross, Jen and Kerry .A very emotional and uplifting day for me .I can't even begin to Thank them for caring so much .Everyone here has helped me out so much . I wish I could meet all of you !!
One of my dr's printed out a saying for me I told her that I wanted to post it!
WORRYING NEVER ROBS TOMORROW
OF ITS SORROW
BUT ONLY SAPS TODAY OF ITS STRENGTH.
TAKE CARE AND GOD BLESS

Wow, Debra, what a Great saying. Also great news that you can get chemo (if there is such a thing as great chemo...hehehe). I, too, LOVE my fluids before, during, and after my treatment. Seems to make a BIG difference..
Hugs to you all, but especially you, my dear!

    Ahoy, Deb -

Glad to hear you're doing well and strep-free! Good to know that fluids are helpful - excellent advice to everyone here who is doing chemo.

Say ahoy to Big Joe for me and tell him I said to get up off his gold-brickin' @$$ and get to work! I ain't seen no SIQ chit!
