Heard from my doc late yesterday that the polyp was just a "baby" and was benign. Yeah! I didn't even buy a one year ticket to a c-scope - still can go every two years. So, I am relieved - isn't it funny though how Cancer checks in on you once it awhile just to remind you? Anyhow thank you all for your kind words and support. 7 years and 8 months - it is possible to survive stage IV - just remember that!

Madu, excuse me for getting personal (everyone on this board has put up with my numerous questions, thankfully!), but what sort of cancer did you have (rectal, colon...) and where had it spread? So happy you are doing so well and for the good report. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yea!! I'm so thrilled for you, that the polyp was "nothing". Great news. You are a hero and success story for so many of us here.

    Hi Madu,

Thank goodness it was benign. We don't need these "reality" checks. Congrats on the long years of NED! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!

    Kathryn,

I don't mind sharing. Once you've gone throught radiation (and anyone who has knows what I mean!) you get past the embarrassment! Mine was rectal-sigmoid with one small met to the liver.
