well, I'm off to my 1st day of work since surgery on Feb. 10th. I don't know how I'm going to fit both naps in! I haven't spent a whole day awake in weeks. Fortunately my co-workers are a great bunch, just happy to have me back.

Of course now I have to tell them that I start chemo next Friday! Wish me luck.

Luck and hugs and energy sent. You know, as far as naps, there are SOME countries that figure this into the workday for everyone. You may be on to something. Start a movement (ooops, just be careful WHAT KIND, LOL).
I worked as much as I could through all my chemo/rads/surgery....it was easy I am self-employed. But at first, I was so glad to be back, I overdid. PLEASE be careful, and take care of YOU....If you get tired, just sit and rest. Sending all my strength, energy, prayers.
    Hugs,
    Kathi

Good luck!!!! I was out 8 weeks from my original surgery ( I am a teacher). I experienced a little fatigue, but I was so glad to see the kids and my fellow teachers!!! I was so glad to be alive!!!! I began chemo and worked 7 hour days. I would come home and sleep. Be aware of your body while on chemo. You will have the"chemo funk" days and slowly some start to feel "normal." Be positive and laugh a lot. Be open about what is going on. Also, you will really understand how important your co-workers are as you go through this. My prayers are with you as you start this new journey to beat the monster!!!! Terri

    Hi Libris!

Good luck! Sending good vibes for your first day back. I have been working through the chemo and work from home the days I am hooked up. You will probably be a little tired but it is also so nice to be around people that support you. Just a change of pace sometimes helps your moral. Like someone said don't overdo though. If you feel like sleeping when you get home, do that.
