time for a bit of a laugh....excuse my sense of humor

G'day, I was in hospital the other day and feeling a bit down due to dh current problems and the nurse came in and told us this joke.....now I am not normally a joke person, but I immediately thought I have to share this with everyone on here cause you would appreciate it.....It's a bit long winded .....but it's worth it (or is it just my sick sense of humour?)

A woman who had a loved pet goose took it to the vet because it hadn't moved for a few days to find out what was wrong with it. She explained to the vet that she was worried about her pet goose and could he please do some tests to find out what was wrong with it.

The vet tenderly placed the goose on the examination table and said "I'm sorry ma'am but I think your goose is dead"
The woman said "Oh no please can't you do something to help?"

So the vet left the room and came back with a labrador and placed it on the examination table next to the goose....the labrador walked around the goose and sniffed it and then jumped off the table.
Next the vet brought a cat and placed the cat on the table next to the goose... the cat rubbed up against the goose.....peered curiously at the goose and jumped off the table.

The vet turned to the woman and said "I'm sorry ma'am but your goose has definitely expired" and gave the woman a bill for $235 for his services.
The woman stared in disbelief at the bill and said "What you are charging me $235!!!!! What for"
The vet replied "Well ma'am you did insist on a lab test and a CAT scan"

My dh and I cracked up when we heard it ...I hope it gives you all a smile
