My mother was diagnosed on May 24 with a GB multi gr4. This was the day the world changed for us. She was the glue of the family and the most positive person you could meet. She had sugery which removed 15% of the tumor and went on aggressive radiation combined with Temodal. She handled the treatments amazing and things seemed to be heading in the right direction. She just finished her first round of 5 day on Chemo and she seems to be experiencing some serious cognative changes which we think is Delusia. A friend recommended we try a supplement called Ambrotose which is made by a company called mannatech. Glyconutients. I am not fond at all of the MLM side of it but the science behind the product seems to make sense so I thought it would be worth a shot. She seems to be re-gaining some clarity and her energy level is up. I remain skeptical of the many testimonials that I see on the manufacture materials but in my mind if helps to improve her quality of life even a little bit, it may be worth while. Has anyone had experience with this product particularly with brain tumors?
