Next week's CT Scan...

I was dx 12/17/04 with stage 4 colon cancer with mets to the liver. After surviving 12 rounds of chemo, 25 doses of radiation, a colon resection, and a plethora of side effects, my Oncologist has mercifully decided to hold on the 13 & 14th round of chemo, instead I'll get a CT scan next week. It's been well over 3 months since my last CT and PetCT Scans. With a little bit of luck I'll hear the words I've been longing to hear...
I'll keep you posted..

    Buster, I feel your pain.... :o) I too had 12 rounds of chemo with 25 rounds of pelvic radiation male or female its not pleasant. But I knew I had to do it and get it done. I will be praying your scans are clear. I was stage 4 also rectal mass mets to liver. Did you have a liver resection also? D ~

    congrats on completing 12 rounds of chemo plus the radiation, surgery, etc. you hero! BEst of luck for the PET/CT -- will be sending best wishes your way.
