    Way to go, Ramona!!! Congratulations!!!

I am stage 3 rectal, 1 year clean. I see my colorectal surgeon every 3 months and the oncologist every 4 months. In between, I try my best to forget their names and anything to do with them.

Relax, enjoy, take some time for yourself.

    Love,

congratulations on the 'all clear' colonoscopy. Yea!!! I sure know what you mean about wanting to avoid hospitals/doctors. I'm on an intensive chemo schedue these days -- and celebrate when I can go 10 days without entering the hospital! I am sure those lovely long gaps will come for you -- first three months, then six, then a year......

Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on the good report card. I'm sure the visits will decrease with time, esp if you keep getting these good report cards.

    Congratulations on the all CLEAR!

As for the "taking time off", I've just come from my second 4 month follow up visit with the Onc. I'm still in my first year and sometimes it feels like I'm living in 4 month blocks of time. It would be nice to not have to think about it.

Hiya Ramona....great to hear that things are going well your way. As for the ongoing stuff.....grrrr. After living most of my life without seeing a doctor or the inside of a hospital things really do get outa hand. I was so healthy! Then after the surgery, chemo, I spent weeks going for heart tests.....now doing the dentist visits. Where does it end?
I guess look at it this way Ramona.....If every time you go for an appointment you get good results, it is worth it. Nothin better than working your way toward the end result...feeling better....feeling safer....you're getting there sweetie!
