My dad was diagnosed with ALL in December 2003, he's 61. Part of his treatment was to have radiation and chemo to his brain which he did. Now he's in the hospital suffering from damage done to his brain from the treatment. He is fighting but we don't know what the outcome is going to be. I have not been able to find much information about this and would love to hear from anyone who has experienced it or may have any info. This has been devestating to me and my family and we would appreciate any info. Thank you! Love and prayers, Renee

    Hello,

If you would like to get information on you father's ALL and treatment, please contact your American Cancer Society's National Cancer Information Center at 1-800-ACS-2345 (1-800-227-2345) where cancer information specialists are available around the clock. You can also visit our main website at http://www.cancer.org. The ACS website is a great source of information.

Also, the easiest way to locate other members with similar cancer types is to type keywords (such as "ALL", "brain radiation", etc.) on the search bar at the top of the home page. You can refine your search by clicking on the different categories of content listed below the list of keyword matches that you get from your search. The major categories of content on CSN are discussion boards, personal web pages, etc. For example, if you are looking for a specific posting on a discussion board, you can limit your search to discussion boards only by clicking on the "discussion area" category. Remember that you must be logged in if you want to post anything to a discussion boards, view personal web pages, get into the chat room, browse the Expressions Gallery, etc.

I hope this information has been helpful.

    All the best,

    Dana
