I am trying to find a surgeon that statistically has been successful in not damaging the nerve under the arm while removing a lymph node.
I had 23 lymph nodes removed with no damage to my arm but that surgeon has retired.

What state are you in? That likely makes a big difference unless you're willing and able to travel great distances.

My surgeon is highly skilled, experienced and sought after for bc surgeries. His practice is limited to diseases of the breast. He is experienced in the Sentinel Lymph Node Dissection and had done several hundred, when he did mine, in 2001.

If you'd like his name, location and ph. #, please email me here and I'll be happy to share the info, if it seems feasible to you.

    Best wishes.

    Love, light and laughter,

I myself had a wonderful female General surgeon, but it helps to know where you are.

Couldn't your retired surgeon's staff refer you to someone he recommends?
