Hello Friends & Sisters,
By saying my last surgery I mean I will never allow any more parts removed or even subject myself to it again..... I almost died & was put on enough medication to knock a bear down. It was a very frightening experience for me & my sister as well as the true friends I know from church. Even the surgeon stated that he did not think I could ever live through another one. By the Grace of God I am still here & yet I have to add that if I passed away it would not have bothered me at all. I am weary from the many surgeries that I've had since the 70s. It has been way too much for my body to handle. I am 46 yrs old & 22 surgeries is far & away too many even if I were older. I neglected to add that I had 2 emergancy c-sections which brings the total to 24! I would love to go to heaven & definately believe it is there. However I believe that the Lord makes those decisions & the people I feel the worse for those of whom lost their children to this dreadfull disease no matter what form it takes. Ofcourse those who lost their significant other & those left behind while too young or caretakers. It affects everyone. I believe we are Survivors untill we actually do pass on. Some may never pass & hopefully the FDA will approve the alternative meds that have proven to be even better then chemo or radiation. They can be even more deadly then the disease itself. Oh well maybe I am getting too deep right now & a lot of you don't want to read this stuff no matter how much it matters to me & the many others. I hope all is doing well for you guys. I would scan the board but I am still pretty weak & need to lay down.
Everyone Be Blessed
Love Cathy

    Cathy my dear,

You have been through more than anyone should have to bear. your strong spirituality will let you know when you are ready - not to give up - but to let go. There comes an end for all of us and you seem to be at peace with your illness.

God bless you - and hang in there awhile longer if it is His will.

    Love, Jean
