    Hi SusanAnne:

Thank you for your kind words. I didn't even know the newsletter had been released yet. Will have to check it out.

I find everyone here an inspiration. We're all just blank pages, in a sense, after cancer and
learning to make the most of it all is what we all want and need. Together, we can share, continue to learn and find so much that's uplifting.

    Be well.

    Love, light and laughter,
    Ink

    Inkblot,
I'm new to the board as a poster but have been reading messages for awhile. Who are you, Inkblot? You have a great talent for putting into words what I'm feeling (others apparently, too).

The most troubling thing about my illness is how painful it is for me to see my family go through this with me. I have sons, 15 and 27, and a husband. It's my body but their lives too that this cancer has invaded. I liked what you said about normal. The chemo is over and the radiation is nearly halfway finished. I try to get back to the way things were before. My 15 year old is learning to drive with me as the coach. I have more patience. It's amazing how patience I can be. Comes from all the waiting we have to do as patients. The 27 year old is getting married in October. He wanted it to be after all of my treatments were over and the issue of my cancer was resolved. I can't bring myself to tell him that I fear this will be with me always to some degree, and I, instead, delight to hear all about the wedding plans. So, normalcy has a new definition.

Thanks for your insights and I look forward to more of them.
    Sheila
