Thank you everyone who replied to my message. It's especially good to hear that other things have lit up on a PET scan. I had FUDR pumped into my liver for six months after my resection, so the last place I expected to see anything was my liver--after waiting for over a year to have the resection and never seeing any new tumors during that time.

I am also in the process of getting a second opinion AND did have another CT scan done on Friday. I'm not going to request to see the report until I see the doctor. My schedule consists of nothing but medical and dental appointments. I have something every day this week. Visit to oncologist for discussion and Erbitux today, appointment with radiation oncologist tomorrow (part of second opinion process), second meeting with second-opinion oncologist Wednesday, ROOT CANAL on Thursday, and first treatment with Avastin on Friday. There's more next week too and the week after! More treatments, dental work, port-o-cath replacement, appointment with surgeon regarding possible removal of the HUGE lymph node in my neck. For most of these events I get to drive an hour into Boston too.

Well, I'll stop my griping. Thanks again for all the support. I'll keep you posted.

Linda

Best of luck on all your doctor visits next week. From the Northeast also (ct).
Pray for you that all your test and visits turn out well.

It's me again. Just one question. Did you say you had Hepatic port to liver? Was this done before surgery and after surgery?

Carmen, I had my hepatic artery pump put in DURING my liver resection surgery.
