I need to make a decision as to how to follow my heart & Lord. I had no right to post a message a while ago regarding alt meds. I am not giving out any medical advice anymore as it is the only option I have; it may not be for others. I did not join this site to do such a thing in the first place. Now I feel like I have to say I am sorry for saying what I did in my last post & prayed long & hard about it. Please do what your onco tells you to do & don't think of alt meds as a solution unless you are in a position like me or others. The day I posted that I was a very angry person & feel that I should have kept my mouth shut! I have avoided this site & have lost friends that I love & care about due to that post. If you wish you can get more then 1 opinion. Please forgive me everyone & all of you Be BLessed In the Name of the Lord.
God Bless Everyone
Love Cathy

    Cathy,
Please stop beating up on yourself for a post you regret. Frankly, I don't remember much of the second one you made where you retracted some things from the first post.
If you lost friends because of it, they weren't worth much anyway - it's their loss.
You have been through so much - relax and don't worry about those who would get riled up about anyone's comments. If they did, they are not as sick as I because I don't have any energy to get angry with people for their beliefs.
Post when you want to and let the chips fall where they will ( or something like that - LOL!)
Hoping I helped you feel a little better.
    Love, Jean

Kathy, I haven't read your first post but I can't see any reason you should feel sorry for being angry - sometimes we all are, it goes with the territory.

    Cathy,
I agree with Jean, stop beating yourself up over a post!! If you were angry then this is the place to vent. If you have opinions about alt meds, then it is up to the people who read the post to determine if alt meds is for them or not. Personally I don't know much about alt meds so I like reading about what other use and then I make my own conclusions or decisions.
So please continue to post and share information.
Take care Cathy and please continue to post.

    Cathy,

Please don't regret what you have posted previously about alt. meds. I think I did too a couple of times. We are all angry at some point after being diagnosed with cancer. If Atl. meds. are the only thing that your body will allow you to take, you shouldn't feel bad about sharing that information. We are all adults here and can make up our own minds whether or not we are going to try alt. meds. I personally am glad to use a combo of both. This is a forum to share thoughts, ideas, fears, love and friendship.

Please come back and visit here, we are all together in this fight and on the same team.

    Love, Ruth

Thankyou for the support & for the record I should not have posted it, but several of you are right about friends. I see that now & I will learn ffrom it. I am currently no longer in remission & will be going into the hospital again. I am sick of this illness & most especially losing friends & family from it. If they are not dying they are abandoning me it seems at times. My family is in denial including my sister who has stood by me throughout the years. Maybe I should have posted this instead of the retraction, but I feel in my heart that while on this Earth in human form I must do His Will & accept whatever He wants me to do or be.

    Hi Cathy:

I recall posting recently to a previous apology post of yours. Trust me, all this apology is completely unnecessary!

Also, one does not need to be angry or needing to vent here in order to share info about alternative meds or complementary, for that matter. That's just what we do here...share. Everyone must choose for themselves what they prefer and get about it. No posting or info sharing here is likely to lead anyone in the
"wrong" direction. Most of us here try to keep up with the latest info, including traditional, alternative and complementary, so a post about what someone may be trying is typically appreciated and if someone has reason to believe it could potentially be dangerous or unsafe, then they will likely respond, sharing those concerns with everyone. It's a pretty good sounding board actually, for anyone considering adding something new or different to their treatment regimens or no treatment at all if that is what they have chosen.

RE your family/friends disappointments: Please feel free to post/vent your thoughts/feelings about that anytime. Most everyone does at one time or another and it can be helpful to do that here. Even though you say that you must do His will and accept whatever He wants you to do or be, does not mean that you have no feelings of hurt or frustration about what's going on. At least I don't think so. Otherwise, we wouldn't benefit much from this site, as no one would ever have anything to share or vent about...all that stoic, stiff upper lip, grin and bear it attitude and that of course would get us all nowhere in a big rush, wouldn't it?

Key word is that you are very much HUMAN and you're entitled to all that entails; feelings of disappointment, fear, worry, anger, hurt, frustration, sadness and whatever else one could feel. So, go ahead and voice those feelings girl. Here is the place for understanding and acceptance. Remember that.

    Warm hugs your way!!!

    Love, light and laughter,

    Cathy,
I remind you gently of Romans 8:1. Let it go. You are forgiven and loved by the One that matters the most. If there are those who choose to walk away from you, so be it. Our Lord will never do that. Lean on Him (as I know you do). May He grant you peace and comfort through His grace, which will be sufficient for you.
    Love, Jayne
