I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL ENTRIES FROM SOMEONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE STOMACH CANCER FREE. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU ARE TAKING SUPPLEMENTS, ETC. THAT MAY AID IN RECURRENCE. MY DADS WAS CAUGHT EARLY AND HE CONSIDERED HIMSELF CANCER FREE FOR THREE YEARS--HE HAD RADIATION AND CHEMO AFTER SURGERY AND NEVER LOST A POUND--NOT MUCH INVOLVED IN THE INTERNET WE DIDNT READ THE STATISTICS WHICH ARE IN A NUTSHELL IT SEEMS NO MATTER WHAT IT COMES BACK IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT. I AM CERTAINLY NO SCIENTIST OR EXPERT BUT IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THIS TYPE OF CANCER ISNT BEING WELL STUDIED( AS FAR AS TREATMENT FOR SURVIVAL) DO DRS. JUST SAY YEAH THESE ARE THE STATISTICS BUT WITH A SCAN EVERY SO OFTEN WITH A CLEAR REPORT YOUR FINE?? DO THEY SAY I WOULD EAT THIS OR NOT THAT FOR PREVENTITIVE MEASURES? ALSO WHAT IF ANYTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT A RECURRENCE IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT?

Hi Zellars, how are you? i hope everything is ok. My sister's fiancee was just diagnosed with stomach cancer also being the primary he is in stage 4 and he is only 33 years old. He has cancer of the liver, esophgus, upper and lower diaphram. I just lost my mother in law back on Feb. 26, 2004 to bone mets. it was a long 4 month painful death. I don't know what to do i'm praying for hope but, i never seem to find anyone who has survived stomach cancer primary please give me some hope and any other information would be helpful. thank you so much for listening Kristine
