I am a registered nurse and breast cancer survivor, my radiation oncologist recommended I start taking a product called Juice Plus. It is 17 fruits and vegs in a capsule form. This product has been studied by major universities and is shown to improve immune system and decrease DNA damage. I just want others to know it is available. I can get more information to anyone that would like it.

Sounds like a excellent product but I would suggust eating the fruits and vegetables. I make a juice frosty every morning with bananas, frozen berries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, cherries and melons sometimes or any other frozen or fresh fruit, pears are also excellent. I use rice milk and apple juice for the mix plus God' Blend of herbs and grasses. Husband gets ground flax seed in his. Lets all keep fighting to keep our herbs and vitamins. Linda

Where do you find it? I enjoy my fruits and veggies, but some days I know I don't get enough. This sounds like a great supplement. Sue

I have that! Now, if only I would take it properly! I know I don't get enough of the veggies in my regular diet (fruits I usually can get, but sometimes not), so I feel better taking this. I first started using Juice Plus to better my nutrition for Ironman training. I had planned on doing my first Ironman later this year until my diagnosis. I stopped taking it until I ran it by my Dr.s. My Juice Plus supplier gave me all sorts of information, and before going back on it, I gave it to my oncologist. She said go for it, and maybe she'd start using it. Thanks for reminding me, I better go take my veggie capsules right now! I hope you find it useful! Good luck

Linda, I'm a smoothie novice. Could you give me more specific instructions for how you do this and what is God Blend? Thanks! Diane

Diane, Here is how we make the fruit smoothie: In a blender put a banana, cup of mixed frozen berries or fruit of choice, one-half cup of rice milk, vanilla flavor, one fourth cup of apple jucie with no sugar, then the God's garden Superfood Blend and whip it up. It is a daily here and even take the blender when out of town. God's Herb' in Fl sells the blend. Type in the Herb Shoppe or God's Herbs and you will find one of them. They are a brother sister team of ND Drs. Linda

I am taking megestrol and have decided to add Goji juice as it is a great immune booster. Have you heard of anyone using it with megestrol.
