In a hurry

I finished treatment one yr ago. I was recently divorced shortly before diagnosis. While undergoing treatment, I was presented with the opportunity to buy the house I was renting. To make a long story short, I did it. I love fixing and changing something that is mine. Recently, a friend diagnosed several yrs before me had a recurrence and is having a rough time. Now I feel I am on this fast track to get everything done that I wanted to do on my house. It seems so important to me. I want to see it and enjoy it. I really need to be concentrating on my sons college education. He graduates this yr from high schoool. Am I losing it?

Hi, Blossomtime-try to relax and enjoy doing the things you love. None of us know how long we have, the best you can do is live each day to the fullest. I had 20 years before my first recurrence. All the best to you and your sons. Betty

Sometimes I get in a hurry too, but Betty is right. Take each day and live it the way you want to. If you get in a hurry, you won't enjoy the journey and fixing up your house will go from fun to drudgery. Take it easy! Diane

    Hi!
Sue here ,I just wanted to pass along a thought. You've already had enough interruptions in your life dealing with bc,sounds like you were getting along and starting to enjoy things again-as you should.Do NOT let fear consume your life now for we all have that little gnawing thought in the back of our minds, the trick is to keep it at bay,and as everyone else has said LIVE EACH DAY TO IT'S FULLEST-be thankful and last but not least be happy!!

Congratulations to your Son on his accomplishment.God Bless You!!!

    w/love
