My mom is 64 and has been recently diagnosised with stage IV small cell and large cell lung cancer, which has already spreaded to the neck, liver and kidney. We go for our first visit to our second oncologist, to see what their plans are for chemo. She was diagnosised in Georgia but she has more family in SC. I would like to know what other alernatives would people suggest. She is a fighter, is a Christian and believes the Lord has healed her, even though she may have to take chemo or other things. Surgery is out of the picture, we were told. She is taking shark cartlidge, Vitamin C, Vitamin B complex, Selinium and the doctor in GA gave her Magace for her appetite. She has three daughters in their thirties worried, and comfused and we all really don't know which way to go. Do you have some advice for us?
