My oncologist did not recommend tomoxiphen because my cancer was er & pr negative. I was wondering if anyone was taking any meds after chemo. AAt this time nothing else has been recommended. I had negative nodes.

Your ojncologist is on the right track - you are lucky with negative nodes. Outlook seems very good. Enjoy each day - keep up with follow-ups with the oncologist and mammograms.

Don't worry just because you are taking no meds now. Rejoice - eat a balanced diet - multivitamin should be good - exercise etc. - you know rhe scoop. Good Luck to you.

My bc was also hormone neg. but Her/2neu positive.
Tamoxifen is typically recommended for those with
hormone positive cancers. Node status has no relation to whether or not one takes Tamoxifen.
However, no node involvement is always GREAT news.

Be conscientious and take good care of yourself, inside and out. You will likely have check ups every 3 months, at least for the first two years. Live well, make it interesting and be happy that you need "0" medications!

YES! I ALSO HAD NO NODES, ER& PR NEGATIVE .
I DID NOT DO ANY CHEMO OR OTHER MEDS., BUT I DID GO WITH THE NATURAL HEALTH MEDS. ( COQ-10 ) READ UP ON THIS , I TAKE ONE A DAY, MY SURGERY WAS ONE YEAR AGO IN JANUARY, I WENT TO MY ONCOLOGIST ON MONDAY AND HE GAVE ME A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. I GO BACK EVERY 6 MONTHS NOW , I FOUND A SITE THAT IS VERY INTERESTING (ONCOLINK) IT TELLS YOU EVERYTHING ABOUT ALL THE CODES THEY USE AND WHAT THEY MEAN , IT MIGHT GIVE YOU SOME INSITE TO YOUR QUESTIONS.
