I looked up gummie bear recipe on the net. Wow this would be an easy way to get the package a day jello. It called for one "sugar free" flavored jello and 6 plain geletin mixed with 1/2 cup cold water. This glob is then heated and poured into molds to be put in the freezer for 10 minutes. I thought this was a great idea for a 7 day stash of jello. The jello helps me more then the pain relievers. At least it takes some of the edge off so I can sleep better. I also started leaving some dishes to wash in the morning so I could warm up my hands in the hot water.

I have been mixing plain unflavored gelatin in water and taking it every day for about 3 weeks now, and also find that the gelatin actually does alleviate joint pain better than pain medication. I can sleep now, too. What a treat!

Denise.. I am so pleased it is helping! You made my day.. I just remembered today it is suppose to be good for your hair and nails also. Vinegar is supposse to help with your hair and blood. We use to put vinegar in the water for the goats so they would get a good winter coat. :+) Best thing is being able to sleep at night. Like you said what a treat!

I am sooo happy (!!!) to see some positives about alleviating joint pain! I will be adding gelatin or jello to my daily routine. I am also taking glucosamine AND trying not to forget calcium, as my radiologist did warn me about bone loss from rads. Thank you for your good suggestions! Claudia

Any kind of jello works. They even have an orange drink mix for joints. I just use the plain package with tang orange mix. I am also glad it is cheap and can be used to make great deserts. SUch a fun way to take something that helps...
