Amelanotic Melanoma stage 3

Does anyone have any info on this melanoma, or know anyone with it? I know cancer is cancer, but I still feel alone.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in february 2001. I had to surgeries to remove the mole and several lymp nodes and then i did a year of interferon treatments. The interferon was pretty rough and i lost a lot of weight, but today all my weight has came back and i feel as good as I ever did. I go every 6 months for a cat scan now just to make sure.
