That can happen when the lymph system tries to clear out an infection, too, but make appt with doctor to get it checked out. Regardless of what it is or is not, you are better off knowing and taking care of it. Hugs, Denise

I want to say that the lumps that come and go are the ones that you should be less worried about. The ones that you find and they grow are of great concer. I had a lump in breast that I found. Doctors Poo Pooed me and I went on with my life and then 6 months later had a lump that grew in my arm pit to the size of a golf ball in just one week. I had found both my lumps when they were the size of a pea or end of baby finger. No one had to tell me what I had I knew. I also had 11 out of 21 positive nodes when I finally had my mastectomy. The lump in my breast never changed size until I had it biopsied then it changed drastically.
Any lumps should be a concern and infections do cause swelling that can seem like a lump but if it comes back should go get it checked when you can feel it. Don't mess around do yourself a favour and get things checked out and push if you are not satisfied. I truly believe our bodies give us signs and most of us ignore them.
    Be good to yourself always,

I agree with the advice of Denise and Tara. Best to have it thoroughly evaluated as soon as possible and not waste time trying to guess at what is or isn't going on.

I do recall someone posting here, similar to your post, not too long ago. Her lump, if I recall correctly, was there and then not there. If you review the messages, you can find the post, which may be helpful.

Good luck and keep us posted.
