I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE SUPERFICIAL BLADDR CANCER AND HAVE TO GO IN FOR BCG TREATMENTS. ANYONE EXPERIENCE THAT?

I am having the third treatment tomorrow and up to now it has been a non event. Other than the cathater it is totally painless. They told me to hold it for at least 2 hours so I have managed 3 so far. I have had none of the side effects so far and the proceedure is like going into the office for a shot, it only takes a few minutes. Good luck to you--Charles

hi, I'm sorry to hear that you have the same thing I was diagnosed with a year ago but I had a 6 week regimen of BCG and inteferon and it was just a small blip on the radar. I had no side effects at all except being a little tired. Have you had any surgery?
