Tamoxifen side effect

Hi ladies...I am having a side effect from Tamoxifen that I am not comfortable posting on the message board. If you are currently taking or have taken Tamoxifen, could you please email me and I will email you back and then you can email me back......

Okay, I know it sounds very secret but I know men read these posts and I don't want to go to the chat room and have my business known anymore than it already is! Thanks!

    I started it in June and have no side effects but I was already on Effexor for peri menopausal symptons for a year or so. I have a few mini hot flashes but that is it. i know a friend that got very ill for 2 months and finally stopped taking it. I don't imagine I am going to be of much help. Sorry-

    I have only been on it for about a month. Hope I can help; please email me @ Susan21498@hotmail.com. I have the hot flashes and then chills during the night with the night sweats, seem to be lacking energy. Don't know if it is from this or from all I have been thru since March.

    i have been on tamoxifen since dec 2002 i am getting hot falshes and my sex life really sucks, i have no desire. is this one of the side effects. thanks

    WELL!!!..... I NEVER!... just kidding. Hey, Karen, just to let you know, I had so many odd ball side effects (and NO, accidently walking into a certain *video* store is NOT one of them...That was just plain stupidity!) that if you knew you would not feel so embarrassed! Nevertheless, I respect your desire for privacy, and I will say a prayer and hopefully your "side effect" will go away :-)
