Hi! You replied to my posting of Bone Cancer signs & symptoms. Thank you. I'm an ovarian and breast ca survivor. I'm also 47 yrs old and have been a nurse for 24 years. I attempted to reply to your message but it said chat unavailable for some reason and wouldn't let me post a reply. So here's my reply. If you don't feel comfortable with your doctor's recommendations, you may want to look into a second opinion. The American Medical Association has a website with a doctor finder where you can try to get an MD closest to you in a particular specialty. The other thing is the American Cancer Society can help you with researching what the norm or guideline for treatments for types of cancer. Third, would be to check with a cancer center located in a medical center where they may see people with cancers similar to what you might be experiencing and how things are handled. I came across Cancer Treatment Centers of America which has several locations. The one I talked with was in Illinois. They were a wealth of info. Their toll free number is 1-800-204-8900. If you want to e-mail me, I'm at ncrn918@aol.com
