Neoadjuvant Chemo not working

Hi everyone and thanks for your prayers previously. I had the ultrasound of the tumor and they found a slight increase in the size. The doctors believed it to simply be a margin of error between measurements. We decided to do a lumpectomy with a local and light sedation (for the baby's sake) and the pathology report shows that there was no necrosis at all. Conclusion: AC wasn't working. Has anyone had pre-surgery chemo and found out that it did not work? I am now going to have to have the baby in the next week or two (as soon as they can schedule it) and then afterward start chemo again just using different drugs. They baby will be 35 or 36 weeks depending on how quickly we can get it scheduled. The surgeon got clean margins which is a good thing but the tumor showed involvment with the lymp and blood vessels. We can only hope by the grace of God that it had not gone anywhere else but I won't know for sure until after the baby is born and they do the scans. Wish me and the baby luck and please keep us in your prayers. If you have had a similar experience I would like to hear from you.

    Dear Diana,
I don't know you but I will keep you in my prayers. Please don't let this frighten you too much, even though I realize that is easier easier said then done, We are after all only human, and we worry. Just keep up the faith in the Lord and He won't let you down... I have been dealing with various forms of this disease since 89 and I am still here and the Lord is the one who I give all the Glory to. Yet I will pray for you and congrats on the baby...... What a mishmash to go through for you! You are havibg a baby and dealing with all this stuff at the same time. Hang in there and God will do all the work for you. I just feel it in my soul that everything will be OK.
    God Bless You and Baby
    Hugs and Prayers For You
