Hi there, it's been a while since I've logged in but, I just wanted to report that I finally finished all of my treatments (YEAH!!!) I've done chemo and just finished radiation on Friday. I'm kinda wondering what to do with myself next. Any suggestions? Also, I would like to know at what point will I finally start to feel good again. I'm still achy and my skin is really burned from the radiation. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

Give yourself a year to have it seem like an almost forgotten nightmare. You'll feel stronger before the year is up, but a year is a good measure. I finished Sept.24 of last year and was soooo tired for a long time, but gradually it lessened.

I wouldn't use just any cream now on your skin- did the doctor give you any special cream for the radiation burn? Now that it is over, should fade fairly fast. Don't be surprised if you have strange pains in your breast. I was told this is a mystery but seems to be from the radiation.

Skip the bra whenever you can for your skin's sake!

Good Luck and keep in touch.
