Hello everyone,
My Father was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer 2 weeks ago. His PSA was 75.5 and he scored 7 on the Gleeson Scale. His doctor told him the only thing he recommended for treatment was the hormone therapy shots. He said his cancer was too advanced for any other of the treatments. I feel scared and uncertain about his future. Is there anyone else out there that had test scores similar to his and if so, would you mind sharing with me what kind of treatments you are receiving and how you are doing so far. Please feel free to e-mail me at Carol468@surfbest.net. Thanks for any info you can provide.

My Dad is getting the hormone therapy too! He gets a shot once every 16 weeks and he takes a daily hormone pill. I believe the pill is Casodex, but I'm not sure of the name of the shot. I can find out if you want me too! I too am very scared and I have a ton of questions for the doctor! Please feel free to email me too at wmott1122@bluefrognet.net Thanks and best wishes!
