DEar Auntie. Don't they just hurt. I have just finished radiation for my upper back as I am constantly getting spasms. They take about 3 days to settle down after each spasm. So far no relief from the radiation but it's early days. Lost my sense of taste though (bummer) and my larynx is swollen so swallowing & talking are a problem (family getting some relief from my chatter though). Hope the radiation works for you. Love Pam.

Well I could be haveing side effects from the tamoxifen. Now I feel like there is some answers. I have been done with radiation for 10 monthes or so and the drs, think its just a side effect from tamoxifen. At least I dont feel so crazy when I say something now about the muscle spasams in the back and the leg pain that is almost as bad as being on Taxol. I cant wait to be done with meds and not have to worry about taking them any more. Been done with cemo for a year but still remember how it was after each session. Thank you all for listening. Hi, Auntie!!

I haven't had any muscle spasms (yet). I've only had one chemo so far. But I guess that I have this to look forward to when I start my radiation on 5/7. I've had some leg and back aches so far, but nothing real dibilitating. I do get "phantom" pains where my breast used to be.

Well, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers through this. Hopefully, the radiologist will be able to give you some answers and some help with the pain. Take care.
