 <title>Help With Child&#039;s Difficulty Adjusting with Father&#039;s Death</title>
 <link>http://csn.cancer.org/node/149855</link>
 <description>&lt;p&gt;My husband died in August 2005 from kidney cancer.  Our only daughter (just turned 11) has been having a difficult time adjusting to life without her father.  She&#039;s become on one hand, extremely needy and clingy to me, but on the other hand, we have a major power struggle.  She tests me constantly and tries to be the adult, telling me what I can and cannot do.  I&#039;ve had her in counseling, but I don&#039;t know what else to do.  I know that a lot of it is normal behavior in the grief process, but I wondered if any of you had similar circumstances and what you did to help the situation??  Thank you. &lt;/p&gt;
