Sure, I agree with you on that. Recently my mom was diagnosed with some thyroid and the goiter tests, for the exact results on the FNAC. I believe this is an important therapy to get to the conclusion of what's happening with the thyroid gland inside the throat. The doctors believe this is a minor case till date, but its not ensured that this will remain the same. Also the doctors prescribed some sort of oxygen concentrator while she is in the observation period till the results of the tests are not provided by the lab.

Throat cancer refers to cancerous tumors that develop in your throat (pharynx), voice box (larynx) or tonsils.

Your throat is a 5-inch-long muscular tube that begins behind your nose and ends in your neck. Your voice box sits just below your throat and is also susceptible to throat cancer. The voice box is made of cartilage and contains the vocal cords that vibrate to make sound when you talk. Throat cancer can also affect the piece of cartilage (epiglottis) that acts as a lid for your windpipe. Tonsil cancer, another form of throat cancer, affects the tonsils which are located on the back of the throat.

My Grandfather died two Christmas ago of in the pancreas, nothing related to this, but Cancer is cancer right?...Anyways I wish all of people with this problem the best for them

My mom was diagnosed with small cell in her throat, but not in her lungs. I have tried to find out more information about this cancer in this area. She has received chemo and radiation, but I was trying to find out more information. She has already lived twice as long as expected, and she is back at work!
We find out the first week of October if there are any more spots. I want to know what is going to happen if they find more. Has anyone been in the same situation?

hiya i am writing as ive just been diagnosed with small cell cancer of the throat with no lung involvement and i am wondering if anybody has any information on this subject as i carnt find any on the internet be very gratefull if you let me know thanks

My dad was recently diagnosed with small cell cancer of the throat and lymph nodes. He was told that there is not any head or lung involvement. I have been searching for information on this type of cancer to find out the prognosis, treatments etc. The only information that I find is on small cell lung cancer. Please someone help me!
