I am so MAD

Hi All,
Just when I thought that things were looking a bit brighter, no such luck. Maybe I am just destined to have bad luck.
My new Acura just got side swiped sitting parked in front of my house! Hit and Run! The car is only about 6 months old.
This afternoon just sucks. First I get a letter saying that we have to pay the remaining 3 months on the now empty apt that we had rented for MIL. We were told that we would not have to pay.
Then after a long conference call with our attorneys in FL, trying to sort out that mess, which will include another trip to FL, not happy about that.
Some fool hits my car, major damage and drives away. People can be so screwed up.
I need a break. I've already had my melt down, tears and all.
This was the last thing I needed right now. Hubby and I had planned a quick visit to my moms and then a quiet night together. Now this.
I think my BP must be through the roof!

    Thats what we are here for. You have to have somewhere to vent and this is the place to do it. I know you don't want to hear it,but when it rains it pours. I have had days when crap starts as soon as I get up in the morning. It seems like it goes on all day. Its like you feel like saying,Whats next? I know you don't need things like this happening to you. And I do feel bad for you that it is happening.Hopefully it will all change tomorrow after your hubby has his surgery.     Wow..Lisha! I'd be mad too! I hope someone in your neighborhood saw something..make of car,license plate..something??? Is your car still driveable? You need this like a hole in the head..ya know? I'm so sorry dear lady... and "yes"...your luck definetely needs to change! Thats really a rotten deal with the landlord of Delores's apartment going back on what you had been told about the rent. What the heck happened with people just doing the "right" thing instead of making a few extra bucks?..It's just not right! I hope the rest of your evening goes better...man, it can't get any worse, thats for sure! Have a glass of wine and try to relax. Keeping Keith in my prayers for tomorrow's surgery.     It gets worse!
    Hi Sue and John,
    Well, it is unreal, the amount of things that went wrong today. I was planning on going to my moms after dinner, but I get a call from her caregiver say that her tv is not working. Well that happens a lot, she is old and pushes a wrong button and it gets all messed up, but fixable. Went over to fix the tv and, guess what, it really is broken. No power, nothing. The sweet old lady lives to watch her cnn and pbs. At least this problem was a some what easy fix. We had just moved the tv that we bought for MIL into our spare room. Just hooked it up last night. So we drive back home, unhook it and take it to moms. So now she has a new tv. thank goodness we had the extra tv. There would have been no way that I could have carried a tv by myself. After tomorrow, Keith is not going to be much help.
    The car is another issue, to be dealt with later. It is fine to drive, just really smashed on the side and rear.
    Tomorrow HAS to be a better day. I will update after we get home.

    PS The landlord is in the wrong, but I may need an attorney for this one. Our state law says that if someone dies you can break a lease, the rent was 1500 a month. Thats 4500 they want me to pay!. No Way. I will fight this for sure, but it will also have to wait.

    So sorry to hear about all of your troubles. Just keep going,you are due for a good stretch and when it gets here I hope it is extra special. Also hope all goes well for your husband today. Sending prayers....Mary

    It is 8:13 AM in the morning, Wednesday Feb 9. I hope everything goes well with Keith's surgery. That's number one priority.

    I am speechless reading your last post. Just terrible, especially since you were feeling so much better. Damn it. At least you solved the TV issue for your mom. They say things come in three's. Count them. You certainly reached the number 3. Each and every issue was terrible, and not fair. I am so very sorry. Please don't say you are destined for bad luck. By it self, as the old saying goes, when it rains it pours. Not sure who mentioned this old saying on their post to you. It certainly is not fair considering all you've been through.

    I would think it will all work out. Try and not think of all 3 at one time. One by one. Easy for me to say, I know.

    Most important, try and not think of yourself in a negative way.

    I am glad you posted your frustrations to us. Please stay well, strong, and positive. Everything comes to an end, and this will pass too.

    I know it is all crazy. It may be a little off the subject but you know as I know its all about the money in the end. All the problems you have to deal with right now and the money grabbers have no compassion. All they want is money,money and more money. They probably already have it rented out to somebody else and making money already. So many people are are so cruel and uncaring. Then some rotten SOB hits your car and runs off and leaves you with the mess. I keep you in my thoughts all the time and only wish the best for you. I am sure your hubby will do fine today. Since we are in the same time zone you are probably already at the hosp. Hang in there girl. Its all anybody can do anymore. Be sure to get back to us with all the updates. John(FNHL-1-4A-5/10)
