How much biotin are you taking per day?

Just curious, it definitely seems to be working on the hair loss. I didn't have chemo or rads but the general anesthesia seems to really affect my hair. Since I've had four surgeries in 6 mos., it's become a situation. I've been taking 5,000 mcg at night. Curious as to what you all are taking and how effective is is/is not.
thanks, ciao!

    Hi Candace
I take 5000 mcg as well. It has done wonders on my hair growing back after chemo. My hair always grew really slow and was very thin, and not much of it, oh and straight too. After chemo and biotin, I have a thick full head of curly hair. I give credit to the biotin.
    Happy Hair,

5,000 and 8000 mcg .. 2 different brands of biotin
I also purchase the shampoo on line - Ja/so/n -- and norally order 6 to 8 bottles - getting price break, as well as free shipping.

I have my daughter, and Husband using the shampoo, as well. Have I notice a difference, ?? i really can't say yes, or no.
