I'm a cross over from the breast cancer site. A woman I worked with for many years passed away yesterday from stomach cancer. She fought a good long fight and as her brother said, quoting Elton John, "Her candle's burnt out long before her legend ever will". Please keep Linda, her family and friends in your prayers.

Thank you.

    Thank you padee for posting.
Thank you padee for posting. That is very touching. Dear Heavenly Father please take good care of Linda, she is now in your care. Please give her family the peace they now need at this most difficult time. Please keep all of our lost one's candles burning...they just might be the stars we see in the sky each clear night. Bless you all.

    Linda
Pat, I will keep Linda and her family in my prayers as I understand how tragic this disease is. My husband also has stage IV stomach cancer at the age of 54. After battling it for 7 months, he was sent home today and hospice is coming in the morning.

Thanks again. I will also keep your husband in my prayers. My brother in law fought this disease as did my aunt and uncle. I know how hard it is to fight and how hard it is on the caregiver. God Bless both of you and know I am thinking about and praying for you.

    Hello Padee
I am sure you meant this post for NeverQuit, not me. God bless you and keep you.
