There is an interesting article under the Yahoo health section that addresses the possible link between cell phones and glios. Should be read as I have always questionned cell phones as a contibutor to the increase in brain cancers.

The reason for my posting was not to say that all brain tumors are caused by cell phones. It was an interesting article regarding independent studies done on the possible link between cell phones and brain cancers. I

Yes, and there has been an increase in brain cancers since cell phones have been around. Maybe a coincidence, maybe not. There has been an increase in cancers overall and studies are pointing to our environment. Again, for those of us who have lost a loved one to brain cancer, the article I was referring to was just more information.

    Cell phones...who knows?
I'm 42 and have recently been diagnosed with grade iii oligoastrocytoma in my left temporal. I was into the cell phone business starting in 1986' always had the latest and "greatest" phones, including the early Motorola and NEC handhelds. I've been using handheld cells for 24 of my 42 years. So say 10-20 minutes a day for a decade and a half. Sometime more, sometimes not, but...

Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind. No pun intended. I suppose it's irrelevant because whether it it my cause or not my life just changed radically. Nothing can say for sure what caused it, but it's not something i'm going to waste energy on. But with that said i sure wish the powers that be could make a determination and settle the debate
